I know upon this occaſion youl
have a great many to Importune you
In relation to the Elections of the members
of parlt for [¿]. I may expect
as your Chieff and yow being heir to Honeſt
faithful Soccoh your father that youl be
advyſed by me In your procedour at Leaſt
that youl delay & renounce any Ingadgements
in that matter till I speak with yow & on
the other hand yow may be aſſured of my
Countinuance and freindſhip on all occaſions
that my concern yow ſuch Is my gratefull
remembranc of your fathers unſpotted Intergrity
and [¿] to my faoily in the worst

of tymes I intend to be at Roſneath
about the 20th of next moneth
ſo ſhall ſay no further till then
